The Peak Load Management Alliance is a diverse
association of leading energy professionals dedicated to developing and
promoting consumer participation in electricity markets around the world
using load management.
Membership in PLMA is open to any
organization interested in demand response. Current members include
investor-owned utilities, publically-owned utilities, technology
companies, retail energy providers, curtailment service providers, meter
manufacturers, integrators, research organizations, not-for-profit
groups, consultants, and more.

Husch Blackwell LLP and the George Washington University Law School
organized the First Annual Confernce on The Law of Demand Response. This
unique event, planned by leading energy attorneys in the country,
addressed the legal problems facing demand response providers,
electricity providers, wholesale electricity markets and more as the
industry matures. The event was held on December 1-2, 2010 at the George
Washington University Law School in Washingon, DC.
A summary
report of the conference is being prepared and should be available
shortly after the first of the year. The report will be distributed free
to those that attended the conference and will be available for
purchase for all others.
